BRIEF: This client is a close friend who was looking for a logo for their new Design & Construction/Consulting business in Oakland, CA.

Without a hard design brief we were able to experiment with a few different options. We decided to not go the expected route of creating a horse logo, as we felt that would give the brand/logo too much of a "high-school mascot" element. Instead we chose to pursue a well thought out, carefully constructed (pun intended) monogram option. We felt that having a precisely balanced logo would better compliment the brand identity and mission (design and construction).
