CLIENT: Animal Loving Care (Brooklyn, NY)
PURPOSE: Develop a new logo and brand identity

Animal Loving Care is a pet daycare and grooming center located in the Carroll Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn. The owner reached out and informed me that they were very much in need of a new logo and branding. They were looking for something modern and sophisticated with an "accessible" quality to it. In other words, they wanted to have a logo that looked professional yet didn't seem as trendy or high-end as something you might find in Manhattan.

Since there wasn't a definite direction in which they wanted to take the logo, I began the project by sending over a spread of initial concepts that varied in "style" (below). The only constant in the initial concepts was the use of maroon as the primary color. The location had just renovated their front lobby area and had used this color on multiple accents. In addition to matching the color I also wanted to incorporate the shape of their front desk dog house structure. I felt including both the dog house element and maroon color into the logo would assist with building a consistent brand identity.
